Good morning! This is the first post regarding the subject of medical bills that are a severe burden to an individual or family’s financial health. This may be due to a variety of reasons, from excessive provider charges, to incorrect billing, botched insurance claims, or simply the lack of health insurance or personal funds to pay for basic or required medical care. According to a recent New York Times article, 2of 3 bankruptcies are caused by medical debt. It’s my mission to bring these issues into the light, provide a forum for specifics and hopefully, provide a way to help ease this burden in a non-destructive, non-litigious manner.
